Description
The Eller College of Management offers three programs leading to the Master of Business Administration degree with options to choose from a variety of functional areas as a concentration: The Full-time MBA program, the Evening MBA Program and the Executive MBA Program. Areas of concentration are not options for the Executive MBA program.
These degree programs are designed to educate students in modern scientific research methods as applied to general and specialized management problems and to prepare students for careers in education, management, and government.
In addition, three dual programs are offered combining the MBA with degrees in Engineering Optical Sciences and
Science, typically adding only one additional year and one summer of academic study. The College also offers
the JD/MBA, enabling completion of law and business degrees in four years through a joint curriculum that counts 15 units of MBA courses toward the law degree and 15 units of law courses toward the MBA.
All prospective students should check with the academic department of their specialization with respect to matters of program focus and requirements.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Proficiency in mathematics at the level of Calculus is preferred. Individual functional areas will vary to allow for differing backgrounds and to accommodate different special interests.
